MDAA Legislative Chairperson

Lori Barnhart CDA, R.D.A. AAS

Lori has been very active within the dental assisting association on all levels and finds that there is so much out there! Michigan can be so totally different than what dental assistants in other parts of the country are experiencing. It is eye-opening to travel, meet and discuss common issures with other dedicated individuals who share a drive and passion for our profession.

Lori graduated from Mott Community College's Dental Assisting program and has been employed with Dr. Douglas Schneck for 19 years (two separate employments). She shares her home with her husband of 21 years, Sterling and her son Sean who is turning 15.

Lori wishes for mandated R.D.A. in Michigan, but on a national level, she would like to see the CDA as an entry level mandated credential.
