Mrs. Mary A. Schlicht November 20, 2009 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter to inform you of my interest in obtaining employment at your office. I am interested in full or part-time employment. I have mostly the last couple of years been a homemaker and stay at home mom. I occasionally have subbed as a dental assistant with Dr. Racine & Ackley in Clio, Michigan. I have enclosed my resume for your review and appreciate your interest in it. I have extensive experience in patient care and front office duties. I would like to highlight some of that experience at this time. In my prior positions, I have worked hard to complete necessary tasks in an efficient and pleasant manner. I was required to assist the doctor as well as expose radiographs, schedule and confirm recall appointments, process insurance claims and conduct patient education sessions. I am able to work both as a clinical assistant and business assistant, transitioning as needed. In addition to my experience as a dental assistant, I have completed the Dental Assisting Program at Mott Community College and received my R.D.A. license and C.D.A. certification. I hold an Associates degree in Applied Science. In 2006, I also completed the R.D.A. Expanded Functions course at Mott Community College. These expanded functions allow me to place amalgams, take final impressions for crowns/bridges and perform pulp testing. I also am associated with the American Dental Association and Genesee District Dental Assistants Association. In addition, I am certified in adult and infant C.P.R. through the American Heart Association. Through my education and experience I feel that I have developed a wide range of skills. I have worked time consuming and demanding jobs. I feel I have the ability to prioritize important tasks and am able to complete the task at hand in a professional and courteous manner. I am interested in a personal interview with your office. I can be reached at (810)444-9296. Thank you for taking the time to review this material. Respectfully Yours,
Mrs. Mary A. Schlicht |
