Friday April 20, 2012:

 

                                        8:15-9:00 AM     MDAA Student Day Registration, Ballrooms A,B,C

 

                                    9:00-1:00          Student Day Keynote Lecture & Competitions, Ballrooms A,B,C

                                    Dental Professionalism in the Age of the Millennial: Presented by Lori Barnhart, CDA, RDA, FADAA.  Everyone is welcome to attend this wonderful event where dental assisting students from around the state compete in essay and other competitions and are introduced to our association. Help us welcome the future of our profession and support them during their day of recognition. You can contact Gwen Graham-Feldkamp with questions regarding the student day schedule and competitions at (734) 426-3539. Educators and their students may locate student day forms on the MDAA website at www.midaa.org and are to follow instructions to register.  No CE credit provided.

 

6:00-11:00 PM   Pajama-relax-orama- Hosted in the MDAA Suite

Please drop in the MDAA suite and kick back and relax with the MDAA Board and let  those creative juices flow. Time will be spent getting to know each other better and brainstorming on anything your heart desires. Please bring your own beverages and a munchie to pass. This is very informal, so come as you are, jeans, sweats or jammies. Come and stay or drop in before or after dinner. Local Presidents will be contacted with the room number of the     MDAA suite to share with their delegates. Limited seating, so be prepared to sit on the floor.

Saturday April 21, 2012:

9:00-10:00 AM   Registration/Credentialing of Delegates, Outside the Aurora Room

  10:00-1:00            MDAA House of Delegates & Balloting, Aurora Room

    1:00-2:00  PM  MDAA Luncheon $35 (register by March 15 on enclosed form) Aurora Room

                                                2:00-6:00             House of Delegates, Installation of Officers, Aurora Room

 

                                    Please note that due to balloting the time for lunch may be adjusted and will be                                                   announced during the House of Delegate.

 

MDAA will make MDAA Name badges for all delegates and student ambassadors and these will be passed out as you credential outside the Aurora Room. These badges are not official MDA badges and do not allow you access to MDA exhibits or CE programs. You can obtain an official MDA Annual Session badge by registering to attend the meeting on MDA’s website by March 19th at www.smilemichigan.com  Your official badge will be mailed to you from MDA. A driver’s license or photo ID is required to register on site at the convention center with MDA.
