Experience/Employment

           

MEAP Reader 1996-2010

  • Score the MEAP Tests for Elementary, Middle and High School in Science, Math and Reading/Writing, in spring when the students take the MEAP Tests.
  • Every year and every MEAP project readers are trained first then tested to qualify to be able to score the project.
  • After completing each project we were assessed for punctuality, accuracy, speed, grading techniques, and attendance to qualify to score the next projects.

 

Health Care Service

 

  • Worked in National Health Service – London, UK.

 

  • As the health care worker my responsibilities included the patient evaluation and education. I also successfully ran the administrative aspects of the practice.   

 

 

 

 

Volunteering

  • Took break from the paying work to raise my twins. During this period not only did I work as the MEAP Reader but did extensive volunteering in my children’s school, helping struggling students K-8th Grade. Examples include helping students with reading difficulties. Also, I helped in school activities such as field trips and various other school functions.
  • In addition, I helped with the boys and girls scouts.  For both organizations I was the first aid and the medical adviser.
  •  I felt privileged and took this opportunity to learn for myself the diversities of the cultures so I can teach my twins the best of both worlds.
